For lent I decided I would pray the rosary every day which is why I started listening/following along with these rosary mediations. I am so HAPPY I found this podcast and LOVE LOVE LOVE the mediations. They always hit home and get me reflecting. The mediations have a way of being exactly what I needed to hear. These mediations have been such a positive/encouraging tool in my spiritual and personal life. Highly recommend! I plan to continue listening every day even once lent is over.

I love saying the rosary along with this podcast. I find the meditations that go along with the rosary so inspiring, educational, and beautiful. I look forward to praying along with it each day. I have been listening to this rosary daily for over a year now. I have had 6 kids in 8 years and this podcast is such a gift that serves me in this season. I never miss a day! It always gives me something to meditate and reflect on as well as small, practical ways to grow in holiness no matter what your situation is. I’ve been a daily listener since you were featured on the Jeff Cavins podcast. It was a nice way to pray the rosary on my drive to work. I’ve donated and shared this podcast with family This week after listening to St. Josephne Bakhita podcast I was very disturbed about a whole coversation about reperations. As African American Catholic and descended of slaves I didn’t feel this was conversation that needed to be disscussed in a rosay. Very Disappointed.

Mike, we absolutely love your podcast and are regular donors. You do great work. However, the episode on January 28 and January 29 in my opinion missed their mark. Through praying and meditating with this podcast I’ve grown closer to God in many meaningful ways. Almost every day I pray a rosary with Mike and Teressa. I hope they know that they are doing a great job, and have a lasting impact on the people that listen to this podcast.

Last lent I promised to pray it every day. This year I’ve decided to pray it every day. I’ve learned so much about Church teachings, the Saints etc. Read two books Mike recommended (Joan of Arc by Mark Twain is awesome).

This is a great short daily rosary prayer. The meditations are really informative and I always learn something new. The counter host has too much of a wispy vocal fry (elongated ‘s’ sounds) but at 1.2 speed it’s easier to listen to.

I gotta say that this podcast is my daily meditation and enjoy it also reminds me to find time for the lord before I start my daily routine. Love It!

I stumbled across this podcast 18 months ago and I’m hooked. It is thought-provoking, educational and inspires me to holiness. I’ve started to listen with my teenagers and they like it! My only criticisms are that during evangelical series the host will stray from the topic, sometime for weeks at a time, and not address that the series is on-hold or when the topic will be revisited. This happened during the series on the 10 Commandments. Listeners want to be ‘in the know’. Also, they speak so slowly that I can listen on 1.25 speed and not notice it is sped up.

Wow! That loud advertisement came out of nowhere! I didn’t have time to ease out of the meditation. My prayer life is very personal and the advertised consumerism felt very violating. I understand the need to start asking for subscriptions but I would’ve appreciated a heads up on the advertising. Having said that, I would not discourage anyone from participating in these daily prayer mediations.

I was introduced to this meditation days ago through the AMEN app. I wish I was listening since day one. Absolutely beautiful way to start my day. Pondering over all that is mentioned in each episode. Life transforming.

I have been trying to pray the rosary more this year and I found listening to podcasts to be the best way for me to do it. I tried out a few different ones but this one has really stuck with me. I really enjoy the different content each day. I always feel like I have something to ponder afterwards and figure out ways I can apply these lessons to my own life. I also feel part of this community. Thank you for sharing your gifts with us.

I enjoy listening to this rosary - I like listening to the short guidance before each decade. I recommend voice lessons for Dr. Michael ‘s counterpart. She sounds like she’s dying. Sorry, but it is a huge block. No vocal fry please!!!!

I wish they would keep the personal promotion out of the meditation. I don’t mind it after the rosary is over but during the rosary is quite sickening. Recently, it also feels that the host is only speaking to the rich and well off. There is a definite disconnect with the reality that many of us are facing. There is also a “holier than thou” feel. I really liked this at the beginning and even shared it with many people but now I regret it and will be using other resources for my daily rosary.

I’m a first time listener to Dr. Mike’s Meditation using The Holy Rosary. I am so happy that I have found it in the Amen App. I knew Dr. Mike years ago. Thanks so much for helping me come closer to the Lord and Mary.

This meditation really helps the mind stay on God versus wandering. I just don’t understand why the Apostles Creed, the Our Father and the Three Hail Mary’s are omitted. ?!? Also Memorare ? Voice is very clear and comforting. The missing “and” between “women” AND “Blessed” is a bit startling and distracting. I use this as a supplement to another daily rosary. I do this one as soon as I wake up in the morning.

I agree with another reviewer who stated that Dr. Mike and Theresa skip the opening to the traditional rosary. I’m not sure why. I have mixed feelings because, after listening to these reflections, I often feel as if I’ll never measure up in God’s eyes. I drink, have been known to use vulgarity from time to time and can be idle on Sundays. Theresa, on the other hand, at 21, appears to be a perfect saint. She enjoys mosh pits, a good glass of whiskey for the taste and strums guitars instead of being idle. She doesn’t cast off toxic friends because she doesn’t want to make them feel as if she’s given up on them. She is quite sure in her beliefs. That’s admirable. I’m twice her age and struggle, sometimes daily, with my own faith. In my opinion, sometimes Dr. Mike and Theresa, especially Theresa, don’t come across as being humble. Dr. Mike is always praising Theresa for having just the right answers. She never needs correcting and her perspective is never wrong. It’s hard to measure up to her perfection. I do enjoy learning about the saints during reflections and I do appreciate the perspective they gave regarding missing mass. It does help me focus a bit more on the words of the rosary so that I’m less likely to just recite while thinking of other things. Is there value in this podcast? Yes, I think so. Can it be discouraging rather than encouraging? Yes, I think so - at least for me.

Overall, I find the podcast easy listening. I wish the daughter would speak louder. I have hearing loss, I do wish she would speak louder. During the discussion part of the podcast she speaks clearly and loudly. While reciting the Hail Mary her voice is light and soft. I don’t really see this as praying the rosary but merely a recitation of 5 Our Father’s, 50 Hail Mary’s, and 5 personal opinions on thoughts of Catholic teachings. While insightful, not the Rosary as defined by USCCB. The beginning skips the Apostle Creed, the opening Our Father, 3 Hail Mary’s, intro-Glory Be. The 5 decades don’t follow the mysteries (i.e., joyful, sorrowful, glorious, & luminous).

I have listened to the podcast off and on for a few years, especially when I’m in a state of spiritual dryness or something significant in my life is happening that I need the Holy Spirits guidance. The show never fails to be exactly what I need to hear at the exact moment.

Some of the reflections are profound, most are useful and insightful. I love this enough to financially support this podcast. Keep up the great work!

As a returning Catholic, this podcast has become my daily rosary.I enjoy being challenged with new ways of seeing things (not of this world). But I have to ask: why doesn’t Teresa (sp?) get credit as a host as well? The introduction just names her father. Her insights are very profound for someone so young and devoted to her faith.

Be careful who you hate. Your “meditation” on fixing homosexuality is offensive and embarrassing. There are thousands of homosexual Catholics who do not need your advice on how to “fix a struggle”. I choose to love them for who they are without trying to change them. Your arrogance is showing in this podcast. You lost me as a daily listener today.

My spouse and I listen nightly and pray the rosary together using this podcast. We started listening during Lent, but have decided to continue because we enjoy it so much! Thank you!

This show has become a part of my night every day. I feel like the strength in my faith is coming back to me after a very long time

I was looking for a podcast to help me get deeper into contemplation so I tried this. It was going ok until the host quoted song lyrics by Meatloaf, began singing them, and joked with his co-host about them at the start of the 5th mystery. It felt awkward and cringy and I finished on my own. I’m not sure if this happens every episode, and if it gets people to The Lord, I’m all for it. But, this was not for me.

Love this podcast. I look forward to learning a bit about my faith and saying my rosary on the way to work everyday. Thank you for your ministry and hard work

….stick with saying a complete Rosary. The interesting meditations, the call and response method of saying the rosary help me not give up on the rosary during the first decade. I find this very helpful, and I feel like I prayed a good rosary. I am doing it every day now. I haven’t prayed a complete rosary in a very long time. I hope this brings more people to the rosary.

Daily Rosary Meditations with Dr. Mike Scherschligt is my favorite app! My husband and I started listening to it a couple years ago and we are hooked! We have learned so much more about our faith and have become more devout Catholics because of this app! Dr. Scherschligt gives us so much to think about and ponder. I have been listening and praying this rosary for almost a year now and I love when Dr. Mike does meditation on the lives of the Saints. It is so nice to hear about their lives and how we can imitate them in our own lives. Please do more on the Saints!
